“When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he was the more afraid; And went again into the judgment hall, and saith unto Jesus, Whence art thou? But Jesus gave him no answer. Then saith Pilate unto him, Speakest thou not unto me? knowest thou not that I have power to crucify thee, and have power to release thee? Jesus answered, Thou couldest have no power [at all] against me, except it were given thee from above: therefore he that delivered me unto thee hath the greater sin. And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If thou let this man go, thou art not Caesar’s friend: whosoever maketh himself a king speaketh against Caesar. When Pilate therefore heard that saying, he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha. And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he saith unto the Jews, Behold your King! But they cried out, Away with [him,] away with [him,] crucify him. Pilate saith unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.” [John 19:8-15; compare 1Kings 18:21]
By rejecting Christ (therewith God) we saw the Jews turn to unite with the Romans 2,000 years ago. Note where, “...The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.” Today we see Protestant America turn to unite with both Roman Catholicism and the Jews. We are made to understand how the Two-horned lamblike (Christian) beast turns and speaks like a dragon (of the Devil). [Rev. 12:3-4, 7-9; 13:11-12ff] This comes as a result of rejecting the 7th Angel’s message (Seven Seals) from God. [Rev. 4-5ff; 10; Ps. 2:1-6ff; Dan. 8:9-11, 23-25; 11: 30-32, 36-37] It was under the Clinton Administration that the 1993 Waco event happened. The make-up of the current US Government comprises the Whitehouse, Defence and Judiciary (Catholic) the State Dept. and Treasury (Jews) while the US itself purports to be Protestant. Following the Waco event (Dan. 11:33-35) we read concerning the King of the North, “ And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.” [Dan. 11:36-37ff] The UN aka “image of the beast” is also led by a Catholic. The apostasy from God becomes complete. Yet as in the days of Elijah there are those who remain true and have not bowed the knee, “...the people that do know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” [Dan. 11:33ff; 1Kings 19:9-18 (Mal. 4:1-6); Rev. 6:9-11; 7:1-4ff, 9-17]
